Land Rover Explore (SIM Free / UK)
Designed for Explorers.
The Land Rover Explore is a tough and rugged Android smartphone built to withstand the elements and be a useful tool as well as a modern smartphone.
The base model features a large 4,000 mAh battery encased in an IP68 certified handset that also meets the MIL SPEC 810G standard for toughness.
Beyond the raw specifications, Land Rover and manufacturing partners Bullitt have partnered with ViewRanger, to include detailed topographical mapping software out of the box, as well as several other utilities and personalised interfaces so you can use the Land Rover Explore as a tool on your outdoor excursions.
The back of the Land Rover Explore has pogo pin connectors so you can attach a range of modular packs and enhance the phone's features.
The most impressive of these is the Adventure Pack. Not only does this almost double the battery capacity of the device, it also adds a 25mm ceramic GPS antenna patch. This can take over from the phone's internal GPS antenna to provide super fine location details and better signal in remote locations and works perfectly with the included ViewRanger maps.

- If the incoming call has been routed long distance and is being routed through a number of service providers telecoms infrastructure
- Technical performance among handset manufacturers, this can be software or hardware related
- The environment the handset is used in, especially where there is background noise, typically traffic in a busy city environment or large shopping malls and airports
All handset manufacturers must design equipment to work within very rigorous standards set by organisations like the European Union. These are normally safety based so that you do not suffer from hearing problems with extended use. The Land Rover Explore phone meets these safety standards and is CE marked as an assurance that we comply with these standards and our audio levels are within safe limits.
