Microsoft Band 2 Overview
We are all living increasingly busy lives and it is difficult to find time to visit the gym, or take part in physical activities. When you do motivation can be an issue, so it is great to have some way to monitor how much you are improving to keep your focus.
The Microsoft Band 2 provides you with this focus by giving you detailed information about your health and fitness. It is also the perfect ally when trying to organise your life with its built-in productivity features.
When you are working out you want to know how much you are improving over time. Simple things like seeing your latest run was a bit faster can give you the motivation to continue with your fitness regime.
With the Band 2 you will be able to reach your fitness goals with custom tracking. So whether you are running, cycling, playing golf or visiting the gym, you can ensure your motivation doesn’t slip and you can keep your focus.
You can view your stats using either the Microsoft Health app on your mobile, or the dedicated web dashboard. With these you will have comprehensive information, giving you insight on where you can improve.
The built-in GPS gives you accurate information on your location and can even detect which hole you are teeing off from while playing golf. Meanwhile the Guided Workouts give you a new and potentially different set of challenges.
Being water resistant means you never need to worry about a bit of light rain, or having a particularly hard workout at the gym.
Maintaining your health is difficult, the Microsoft Band 2 features numerous sensors which collect information indicating your fitness and wellbeing. Keeping active is just part of your overall health, as quality of sleep and heart rate play a big part.
The built-in heart rate monitor keeps check of your stats during activities, rest periods and also sleep. This gives you a good indication of your sleep efficiency and overall wellbeing.
In order to give yourself more to time to spend at the gym and take part in the activities you enjoy Microsoft has given the Band 2 productivity features which mean you spend less time working.
View and reply to emails, organise your calendar appointments and see your notifications. It is possible to perform all of these functions using the Band 2, and Cortana has been built-in giving you your very own personal digital assistant.
